About the Role
The Engineering Manager will optimize manufacturing processes by eliminating waste and maximizing equipment uptime, develop and refine production methods, lead new product introductions, evaluate products and packaging for value analysis/value engineering opportunities, manage capital projects, maintain facility documentation, define manufacturing standards, monitor safety and quality metrics, lead and mentor engineering staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience in process design, control systems, equipment, and facilities project implementation
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership with high personal standards and critical decision-making ability
