About the Role
As the Engineering Manager, Capacity and Efficiency Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for building software that detects, tracks, attributes, and reduces AWS cloud costs. You will guide the design and delivery of internal systems for cost attribution and capacity forecasting, partner with Data Science for cost risk management, and ensure accountability for cost regressions.
About You
Required:
- Experience managing and developing engineers, including setting clear goals and providing feedback.
- Hands-on experience running cloud-native systems on AWS with a strong understanding of cloud cost models.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes efficiency and cost reduction strategies.
Preferred:
- Experience building or operating systems related to FinOps or cloud governance.
- Strong communication skills for navigating cost accountability conversations.
