Summary
ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an Engineering Project Manager 3 to lead complex, multi-discipline engineering projects supporting power delivery systems across the United States. This senior-level position provides end-to-end project leadership in Sacramento, CA.
About the Role
As an Engineering Project Manager 3, you will manage contracts and project scopes ranging from $1M–$5M+, ensuring all technical deliverables meet client and regulatory standards. You will develop budgets, milestone schedules, resource plans, and monthly status reports, lead stakeholder engagement, oversee QA/QC and safety compliance, guide field coordination, and mentor engineering teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar field required.
- 12+ years of project management experience in utilities engineering or very similar technical fields.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline engineering projects ($1M–$5M+).
- Experience with QA/QC, regulatory compliance, permitting, and field coordination.
- Strong analytical skills, contract management knowledge, and experience with complex multi-discipline projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
Preferred:
- PE license and/or PMP certification strongly preferred.
