ALLY Energy is seeking an Engineering Quality Specialist Supplier to join their team in Skaneateles, NY. The role involves driving qualifications and quality improvement plans for assigned suppliers in the energy industry.
About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist, you will support incoming inspection and production floor activities, provide guidance to suppliers for compliance with engineering specifications, participate in Management Review Board meetings, execute supplier quality activities, and monitor cost of quality reduction for supplier-related defects. You will work collaboratively with quality teams and assist with first piece qualifications.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing.
- Quality or manufacturing background.
- Knowledge of quality tools and ISO9001 QMS requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and cope with multiple complex situations.
Preferred:
- Print Reading skills.
- Experience with SAP.
