About the Role
As an Engineering Tech V – Mechanic, you will be responsible for forecasting, scheduling, and performing maintenance on marine mechanical equipment, including HVAC and electrical generators. You will operate and maintain cranes, perform custodial duties, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The position requires working in various weather conditions and maintaining a clean and organized shop.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 15 years of commercial experience or 8 years of military experience with transferable training.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial experience or 5 years of military experience under NAVFAC P-307.
- 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines.
Preferred:
- OSHA Certification(s).
- Experience with lifting and pulling winch operation and maintenance.
