Magrym Consulting Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician (Construction Materials Testing) to join their team in Midland, Texas. The role involves performing various construction materials testing and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
About the Role
As an Engineering Technician (Construction Materials Testing), you will be responsible for soil and aggregate sampling, logging materials, performing aggregate, soil, and concrete testing, and conducting both lab and field work. You will follow ASTM and AASHTO standards, enter software data, log geotechnical samples, maintain a clean working environment, and accurately record timesheets. Daily travel to construction sites within 100 miles of the home office is required, along with the ability to train for certifications in ACI, NICET, and/or State Testing within 6 months of hire.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Drivers License.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment/random drug test.
Preferred:
- ACI Field Technician Certification.
- ACI Laboratory Technician Certification.
- ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician Certification.
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction.
