Supply Chain Management Inc.1.Com (SCMI1) is seeking an Engineering Technician - Electronic to support the United States Navy at the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) in Mayport, FL.
About the Role
As an Engineering Technician VI, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing U.S. Navy ship structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment/systems. You will lead teams in conducting formal material condition assessments and communicate findings through official reports. Your role will also involve documenting experiences with various workload databases and interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
About You
Required:
A minimum of three years of journeyman level experience in troubleshooting, repairing, or testing U.S. Navy ship systems.
Experience in conducting formal material condition assessments of U.S. Navy ship systems.
Ability to communicate findings through official reports.
Documented experience with Microsoft Office products and Navy Maintenance Database (NMD).
Preferred:
Experience in assessment and oversight of repair of U.S. Navy ships' propulsion control systems.
Ability to interpret naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
