Amentum is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team at Kennedy Space Center in Center Hill, FL. The role involves supporting Launch Vehicle Processing of the Artemis Launch Vehicles, including flight hardware assembly operations and testing.
About the Role
As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and testing of flight hardware for the Artemis program. You will work in a team environment, following detailed instructions and schematics, and participate in training to obtain necessary certifications. Your tasks will include interpreting engineering drawings and adhering to safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience or equivalent technical training.
- Ability to follow work instructions and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Moderate proficiency in mechanical or electrical technical operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to pass SCAPE physical and maintain a security clearance.
- Willingness to work weekends and off-shifts if required.
