Electronic Technologies International, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team in Fort Atkinson, WI. The role involves supporting manufacturing operations by assisting with customer RFQs, developing new assemblies, and initiating engineering changes.
About the Role
As an Engineering Technician, you will serve as a key link between engineering and production, ensuring quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include reviewing customer RFQs, assisting in the development of new assemblies, troubleshooting board assembly issues, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with production leadership to analyze and improve manufacturing processes and maintain accurate technical records.
About You
Required:
Ability to read, interpret, and apply customer drawings and specifications.
Proficient in understanding and working with electrical schematics.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Clear and effective communication and teamwork skills.
Solid mathematical and data analysis skills.
Understanding of manufacturing workflows and time/labor study principles.
Experience with ShopWorx or similar ERP/MRP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word and Outlook.
Preferred:
Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology.
3+ years of experience in electronics, wiring, harness assembly, or manufacturing.
