First Solar is seeking an Engineering Test Support II to join their team in Perrysburg, OH. The role involves supporting developmental tests in the manufacturing line and performing testing in a laboratory environment.

About the Role

As an Engineering Test Support II, you will operate and execute process steps using various processing equipment and test tools. You will follow work instructions, perform basic analytics, and ensure that all tests are completed as per the schedule. You will communicate any abnormal findings and assist in continuous improvement efforts for productivity and safety.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing or lab environment or 1 Year as an Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions/test plans.
Average ability to use tools and operating equipment (micrometers, multimeters, power supplies, data loggers).
Proven communication skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and ability to analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL applications.

Preferred:

Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
Familiarity with safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
