First Principles & Concepts is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team in Aurora, CO. The role involves managing the full contract lifecycle for federal contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting operational success.

About the Role

As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, providing end-to-end contract administration, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You will also support proposal development and serve as the point of contact for contractual matters with government customers.

About You

Required:

6+ years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
Strong experience working within a government contracting environment.
DAWIA/FAC certification or equivalent.

Preferred:

Experience reviewing and evaluating contract language.
Strong understanding of federal regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Negotiation skills and ability to maintain strong relationships.
Proficient in the use of MS 365 applications and contract lifecycle management systems.
