Clay is seeking an Enterprise Growth Engineer to join their team in New York City. The role involves rapidly building solutions to unblock enterprise deals and transforming those into scalable product features.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Growth Engineer, you will work closely with Solutions and Growth Strategist teams to understand customer needs and deliver production code quickly. Your responsibilities include building MVPs, identifying common needs across enterprise customers, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will have the autonomy to make decisions about what to build, directly impacting Clay's revenue growth and product roadmap.
About You
Required:
3+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code.
Strong full-stack capabilities with modern web technologies.
Track record of shipping quickly without sacrificing quality.
Ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into working software.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to anyone.
Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
Located in or willing to relocate to New York City.
Preferred:
Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
Background as a technical founder or early engineer at a startup.
Experience in customer-facing or forward deployed engineering roles.
Familiarity with go-to-market tools and workflows.
Track record of turning hacks into scalable products.
Experience with enterprise software and understanding of enterprise buying processes.
