Summary
Murgado Automotive Group is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join their service team at Acura of Highland Park. The role focuses on performing basic automotive services and supporting experienced technicians.
About the Role
As an Entry-Level Automotive Technician, you will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services. You will complete multi-point vehicle inspections, assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics, maintain accurate repair orders, and follow dealership service procedures and safety standards. Additionally, you will communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and participate in manufacturer training and skill development.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Trade school or prior shop experience.
