Summary
Amentum is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join their team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane. The role involves supporting customers within the Strategic Microelectronics Division through various engineering assignments.
About the Role
As an Entry Level Electrical Engineer, you will perform design, development, and review tasks under close supervision. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing printed circuit boards, automated test programs, and conducting simulations for microelectronic components. You will also assist in preparing reports, maintaining project status, and interfacing with customers during design reviews.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across different functional areas in a collaborative environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Preferred:
- Microelectronic component test experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Altium, Eagle, LTSPICE, etc.
- Some programming experience with Python, C, C++, VisualBasic, git, or Labview
- Basic analog or design knowledge of circuit boards or ASICs
- Understanding of noise and repeatable test measurements
