MissionHires is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Bremen, GA. The role involves leading the implementation and administration of an effective EHS program to ensure a safe work environment.
About the Role
As the Environment, Health and Safety Manager, you will serve as the subject matter expert on EHS regulations, maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and build relationships with regulatory agencies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining EHS metrics, investigating incidents, recommending process improvements, and ensuring compliance with permit requirements. You will also facilitate safety meetings and conduct EHS training for new hires.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
Five years of related experience in manufacturing.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
