Summary
Amentum is seeking an Environmental Control and Life Support System Senior Project Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves leading advanced flight hardware projects for NASA's ECLSS team and managing project risks and compliance.
About the Role
As the ECLSS Senior Project Manager, you will report to the JETS Section Manager and support the JETS EC Division Technical Manager and NASA EC3 Branch Chief. Your responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, managing project development and sustainment, ensuring compliance with space flight hardware requirements, and providing budgeting and forecasting support. You will also coach early-career team members and communicate project status to management and NASA customers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10-15 years of related experience.
- Prior experience with Government financial reporting, budgeting, and cost estimating.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Experience with ISS flight hardware processing for spaceflight.
- Experience with hardware anomaly troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Familiarity with the Engineering Life Cycle process.
