About the Role
As the Environmental Health and Safety Leader, you will work with corporate and site leadership to promote safety awareness and compliance with safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing EHS programs, conducting safety inspections, overseeing training programs, and responding to emergency situations. You will also analyze incident reports and make recommendations for improving safety practices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, physical science, engineering or related science.
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience within a complex manufacturing or research environment.
- One or more certifications: ASP, CSP, QEP, CIH, RPT, CHP.
- OSHA 40-hour General Industry certification.
- HAZWOPER certification.
Preferred:
- Experience leading EHS programs and initiatives and interfacing with regulators.
- Experience with radiation and radioactive materials.
- Knowledge of Ergonomic principles.
