Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join their team in Cleveland, OH. The role involves providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for site-level environmental, health, and safety programs.

About the Role

As an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, you will champion a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster shared ownership of safety performance among employees and leaders. You will partner cross-functionally with production leadership, HR, and senior management to embed safety excellence into daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or fast-paced operational environment.
Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and maintaining core EHS programs.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management or reporting systems.

Preferred:

CSP, CHMM, CIH, or other relevant professional certifications.
Experience supporting Lean manufacturing, Kaizen events, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Prior experience serving as a site point of contact during regulatory inspections or audits.
