About the Role
As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for regulatory compliance, program development, conducting inspections and audits, providing training and education, emergency preparedness, risk assessment, and maintaining records for regulatory compliance.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years Environmental Health work experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Excellent communication skills, including being bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Experience working with and reporting to Federal and State agencies (OSHA, EPA/DEP).
- Experience with Hazardous Waste Management.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Exceptional reading comprehension and attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Health & Safety or Industrial Hygiene).
- Certifications in Environmental Health & Safety related programs.
