About the Role
As an Environmental Scientist, you will lead an environmental team, manage projects, and build relationships with key clients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing environmental tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and mentoring staff. You will also be involved in business development and strategic planning for the Environmental Services practice.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) in Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related degree.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience managing environmental tasks/projects in Indiana.
- Experience with NEPA processes and environmental permitting rules and regulations.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Relevant professional certifications (AICP, PWS, CPESC, etc.).
- Client contacts and relationships with local, regional, or state agencies.
- Experience in natural resources assessments and field investigations.
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS), specifically ArcGIS and/or CAD.
