Summary
TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join their Air Measurement Services (AMS) Practice in Burr Ridge, IL. The role involves leading emissions testing teams and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
About the Role
As an Environmental Scientist, you will lead in-field teams on emissions testing practices, set up monitoring equipment, ensure compliance with regulations, record test data, prepare reports, and manage project execution. You will also conduct sampling collections and travel up to 70% as needed.
About You
Required:
- Experience in air emissions testing (stack testing).
- Familiarity with EPA Methods.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Unencumbered US driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High attention to detail, especially related to safety and quality.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline.
- Previous experience leading teams in the field.
- QI certification in Groups I, II, III.
- Thorough understanding of EPA Methods 1-5, 6C, 7E, 10.
- Experience performing CEMS RATA's (40 CFR 60/75).
- Current, valid US Passport.
