PeaceHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Attendant I for a Per Diem/Relief, Day position in Bellingham, WA. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing rooms, floors, fixtures, and furnishings in assigned work areas.

About the Role

As an Environmental Service Attendant I, you will be responsible for ensuring that assigned areas are cleaned and disinfected according to departmental procedures. Your daily tasks will include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning carpets, washing walls, ceilings, furniture, and fixtures, emptying trash, restocking supplies, and washing and making beds. You may also set up furniture in conference rooms, maintain housekeeping carts, respond to emergency cleaning needs, and communicate with clinical personnel to determine priority cleaning needs.

About You

Required:

Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Strong customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.

Preferred:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year formal housekeeping experience.
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Driver's License may be required.
