Ansible Government Solutions is seeking an Environmental Service Technician/Housekeeper to support operations at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System located in Seattle, WA. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the facility.
About the Role
As an Environmental Service Technician/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting outpatient rooms, maintaining floors, cleaning break rooms and common areas, removing trash, and ensuring all surfaces are free of dirt and debris. You will also perform general dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning as needed, while adhering to health and safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
Preferred:
- Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with EPA approved cleaning agents and hospital-grade disinfectants.
