About the Role
As an Environmental Services Technician II, you will report to the Environmental Services Manager and be responsible for cleaning patient rooms and ancillary areas according to departmental and corporate standards. This includes isolation and terminal cleaning, disposal of soiled linens, and ensuring that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked. You will also be expected to follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and maintain a positive customer service environment.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
- Strong communication skills to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize multiple work assignments.
Preferred:
- Previous hospital experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with the correct use of body mechanics.
- Ability to work on call and overtime when necessary, including holidays.
