About the Role

As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to meet environmental objectives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and leading sustainability initiatives across multiple sites. Your daily tasks will include conducting environmental inspections, providing training for plant staff, and serving as the liaison with regulatory agencies. You will also track environmental KPIs and coordinate with various departments to integrate environmental considerations into projects.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
5+ years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and travel as needed.

Preferred:

Experience in Ergonomics and Behavior Based Safety.
Creative ability in ensuring safety while meeting production needs.
Strong presentation skills.
