SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves overseeing project administration to achieve profitability and schedule goals in the solar energy sector.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will perform essential project engineer responsibilities, attend and document project meetings, maintain project filing systems, update drawings and specifications, assist with CPM schedules, evaluate field problems, prepare and maintain logs for RFIs and submittals, and compile contract close-out documents. You will also document punch list work and complete other assigned responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years as Project Engineer.
- Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
Preferred:
- Field experience desirable – e.g. carpenter.
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.
- Drafting and computer skills desirable.
