About the Role
As an Equipment Operator II, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and performing construction and maintenance activities. Your daily tasks will include ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and completing assigned duties efficiently. You will work in various weather conditions and may be required to perform heavy manual labor.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma and three years of experience in public works construction and maintenance activities including the operation of heavy equipment.
- Massachusetts CDL Class A Unrestricted drivers license with air brake and tanker endorsements.
- Massachusetts Hydraulic Hoisting 2A and 1C license.
Preferred:
- Massachusetts Class 4G Hoisting License.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
- Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining all types of special and heavy equipment and trucks.
