About the Role
As an Equipment Operator II, you will operate various trucks and heavy equipment, including roll-off trucks, flusher trucks, and loaders, to maintain landfill operations. Your responsibilities will include daily maintenance of equipment, assisting mechanics with repairs, and training in the operation of additional heavy machinery as needed. You will also perform laborer duties occasionally and ensure compliance with landfill operations and safety regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid State of Missouri Class A CDL with Tanker and Trailer endorsements required.
- One to three years of experience in a related field required.
- Skills in the safe operation of equipment used in landfill maintenance.
- Knowledge of landfill operations, rules, and regulations.
Preferred:
- Ability to read surveyor's marks and build areas or projects accordingly.
- Good hand/eye and hand/foot coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with minimum supervision.
