Martin County Hospital District is seeking an ER Registered Nurse - PRN to join their team in Stanton, TX. The role involves providing total nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge processes for patients.
About the Role
As an ER Registered Nurse - PRN, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, directing and evaluating care delegated to non-licensed personnel, and ensuring the plan of care is executed in a safe environment. You will also cross-train to all patient care departments to maintain adequate staffing levels.
About You
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas or licensure from a state within the nursing compact.
Hold current CPR/BLS certification or obtain upon hire.
Preferred:
Credentials in an advanced cardiac life support course (e.g. ACLS or hospital equivalent).
Credentials in a nationally recognized pediatric advanced life support course (e.g. PALS or ENPC).
One (1) year experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in a hospital environment.
TNCC certification.
