About the Role
As an ER Registered Nurse - PRN, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, directing and evaluating care delegated to non-licensed personnel, and ensuring the plan of care is executed in a safe environment. You will also cross-train to all patient care departments to maintain adequate staffing levels.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas or licensure from a state within the nursing compact.
- Hold current CPR/BLS certification or obtain upon hire.
Preferred:
- Credentials in an advanced cardiac life support course (e.g. ACLS or hospital equivalent).
- Credentials in a nationally recognized pediatric advanced life support course (e.g. PALS or ENPC).
- One (1) year experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in a hospital environment.
- TNCC certification.
