About the Role

As an ESL Instructor, you will prepare for in-person classes, teach basic reading, writing, and conversation skills, monitor student attendance, prepare classwork and tests, and give final examinations. You will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, ensuring a supportive learning environment for students.

About You

Required:

Minimum two years of college education.
Prior experience teaching adults.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attendance and punctuality during the program is mandatory.
Must understand and support The Salvation Army's mission.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Patient, compassionate, and understanding demeanor.
Proficient in computer skills.
