Summary
Fulton County Schools is seeking an ESOL Teacher Pool to provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards.
About the Role
As an ESOL Teacher, you will be responsible for providing content-related instruction based on Fulton County’s curriculum, promoting active learning, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. You will also collaborate with partner teachers in the Dual Immersion model, integrate technology into instruction, and participate in additional training as required.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university.
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable content field or eligibility to hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate.
- Passed the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and Written Proficiency Test (WPT) at Advanced Level proficiency in a target language other than English.
- 0-1 year classroom experience.
Preferred:
- Proven communication and instructional strategies.
- Classroom management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain 100% of instruction in the target language using Comprehensible Input (CI).
