About the Role
As an Estimator, you will develop accurate cost estimates for fire protection projects, analyze project blueprints, conduct site visits, prepare bids, coordinate with vendors, monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also implement best practices in cost estimation and project management.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in cost estimation in fire sprinkler systems.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate accurate cost estimates.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
- NICET Level I or greater strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
