About the Role

As an Evening Cook, you will be responsible for handling and preparing food that is palatable and attractive, cooking a variety of foods in large quantities, and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines. You will also supervise other food service employees in the absence of the Executive Chef and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in the dining department of a senior care community preferred.
Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
Serve safe certification.

Preferred:

Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Enjoy working with older people and demonstrate a caring attitude.
Ability to estimate quantities of food required and limit waste.
