Summary
BryceTech is seeking an Event Specialist to join their team in Dayton, OH. The role involves coordinating and managing various specialized events, conferences, and functions to support the AFWERX mission to accelerate technology transitions.
About the Role
As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for meticulous planning and execution of events, including major in-person conferences, webinars, and logistics management. Your tasks will include coordinating venue selection, managing transportation and catering, developing event timelines, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to military protocol, and conducting post-event evaluations.
About You
Required:
- Active DoW Secret Clearance or above.
- Degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or related field, or at least 5 years of experience planning large events (300+ attendees).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of military customs, traditions, and protocol.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, including Google Workspace.
