About the Role
As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of event planning and cheer competition coordination, including managing budgets, nurturing vendor relationships, and staying current with event planning trends. You will assist in developing annual sales quotas, participate in strategic meetings, and coordinate with the event team to meet participant needs.
About You
Required:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in an event coordination or event management field.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and creative publishing tools.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to travel without restriction, sometimes with little notice.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Degree in marketing, business management, or sports management.
- Experience in cheerleading, preferably at a highly competitive level.
