Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Business Development Senior Manager to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves driving and executing business development initiatives to grow the Firm’s Employment law practice.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive business development strategy for the Employment Practice Group. Your responsibilities will include overseeing pitch and proposal management, conducting market research, planning events, coordinating internal efforts, managing marketing collateral, and mentoring a Business Development Manager. You will also track business development metrics and prepare reports on activities and results.
About You
Required:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development or marketing within a law firm or professional services firm.
Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as a JD or MBA is highly desirable.
Ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans and manage complex projects.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with client relationship management databases.
Strong leadership and people skills, with prior experience in managing or mentoring staff.
Preferred:
Experience specifically with Employment or Labor & Employment law practices.
Familiarity with the legal industry and business environment of law firms.
Knowledge of labor and employment law trends and client concerns.
