Summary
Knights of Columbus is seeking an Executive Director of the St Paul II National Shrine to lead the Shrine's mission and programs in Washington, DC. The role involves overseeing the Shrine as a place of pilgrimage and prayer, and developing partnerships with Catholic organizations.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Shrine's mission, overseeing its liturgical life, programs, and exhibits. You will strengthen relationships with Catholic apostolates and the Church hierarchy, and lead fundraising activities for the Shrine. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Office of the Supreme Knight.

- Proactive approach to addressing issues
- Extensive knowledge of the Catholic Church
- BA or BS degree
- Masters or equivalent in theology, business, museum studies, law or other related field
- 8-10 years of related management experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred:
- A theological and/or practical grounding in the teaching of the Church, especially as it relates to the teaching of John Paul II
- A demonstrated capacity for relationships with Church hierarchy throughout the country and lay leaders in apostolic and intellectual endeavors in the DC area
