About the Role
As the Executive Director - Lab Administration, you will be responsible for leading laboratory services, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will initiate and oversee projects related to laboratory operations, communicate with key stakeholders, and implement new methods to enhance laboratory services. Your leadership will guide the department in achieving its goals and objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate degree in a nationally accredited laboratory sciences program achieving MT/MLS degree (ASCP) or equivalent, with a graduate degree in business or hospital administration.
- Minimum of six years of administrative experience in a hospital clinical laboratory or two years in leadership of a clinical laboratory with a graduate degree and four years of experience at the director level.
Preferred:
- Experience in clinical laboratory settings at the director level or above.
- Registry with a nationally recognized certifying body.
