Insmed is seeking an Executive Director, Cybersecurity & Risk Management to join their team in Bridgewater, NJ. The role involves overseeing cybersecurity operations, enterprise risk management, and the Computer Systems Validation (CSV) program.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, Cybersecurity & Risk Management, you will manage cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining operational excellence. You will define and execute Insmed's enterprise cybersecurity and risk strategy, present cybersecurity posture to executive leadership, and foster a culture of security accountability. Additionally, you will lead hands-on technical operations, oversee risk management policies, and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity organization.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 15+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience, with a minimum of 10+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise-level programs in the pharma or biotech industry.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, or architecture.
- Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and audit processes within regulated industries.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC Security Leadership, CCSP.
- Experience leading a Computer Systems Validation team in a regulated environment.
- OSCP or other technical certifications.
