About the Role
As the Executive Director of Plant Services, you will be responsible for the operation of the Plant Division, including total plant maintenance, rehabilitation, and modernization. You will prepare bid specifications, manage purchasing and inventory control, and develop plans for construction and reconstruction. The role involves supervising professional, engineering, technical, and clerical personnel, as well as liaising with contractors and ensuring the efficient performance of the division's functions.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Architecture or Engineering and three years of experience in design, construction, or maintenance of large buildings, including two years in a managerial capacity.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer or Architect License issued by the State of New York.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering with five years of relevant experience, including two years in a managerial capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and techniques in school plant design and maintenance.
