About the Role
As an Executive Underwriter, Large Property, you will oversee monoline property accounts with a minimum Total Insured Value of $300 million. Your responsibilities include analyzing property exposures, financial information, and loss history to determine appropriate business terms. You will collaborate with Risk Engineering and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, while also mentoring junior underwriters and participating in cross-departmental projects.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Business or equivalent typically required.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive underwriting experience and/or related business experience.
Preferred:
- CPCU or professional insurance designation.
- Proven analytical ability to evaluate underwriting risks.
