About the Role
As a Part Time Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for developing individualized exercise prescriptions, monitoring patient health during sessions, educating patients and families, and leading group exercise sessions. You will also participate in discharge planning and maintain required competencies and certifications.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, Allied Health or Exercise Science.
- Current license to practice in the state of Indiana (if physical therapist). Certified in Basic Life Support.
Preferred:
- Certified by ACSM as Exercise Specialist or master's degree in Exercise/Exercise Physiology.
- Two years previous experience in adult fitness and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs.
