About the Role
As an Experienced Cable Lineman, you will be responsible for installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cables, safely using hand tools and mechanized equipment, directing traffic flow according to local DOT guidelines, and maintaining safe working conditions. You will work in various locations and may be required to work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license.
- Prior experience as a lineman placing aerial and underground telecommunication cable (fiber and coax) in OSP and ISP environments.
- Ability to climb utility poles and work in a bucket truck, including climbing poles up to 40 feet.
Preferred:
- Experience with safety regulations and procedures in telecommunications.
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
