Savannah River Nuclear Solutions is seeking an Experienced Electrical and Power System Engineer to join their team in Aiken, SC. The role involves providing engineering support for electrical and instrumentation systems in a nuclear materials processing plant.
About the Role
As an Experienced Electrical and Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low and medium voltage systems infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include performing modeling and simulation for power systems, ensuring compliance with electrical National Codes and Standards, and developing system repair designs and installation plans.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering plus at least five years of experience in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience, OR Doctoral degree in relevant field.
Preferred:
Master or PhD degree in applicable science or engineering discipline.
Advanced knowledge of discipline's standard theories, concepts, principles and techniques.
Working knowledge of standard engineering/scientific practices and applications.
