About the Role
As an Experienced Professional, Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research, design, and construction of load-bearing structures, analyzing data from various sources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and professionals to execute project work, maintain quality control, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build applications.
- Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
- Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant structural and civil construction laws, codes, and compliance practices.
- Effective communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
- Moderate proficiency with technical writing and design software.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
