WTW is seeking an External Communication Manager for their Risk & Broking North America team in New York, NY. The role focuses on implementing media strategies and enhancing the company's presence in North American media.
About the Role
As the External Communication Manager, you will implement a media strategy to support the Risk & Broking North America business goals, align PR strategies with global priorities, provide communications counsel to leadership, manage external vendors, and oversee media coverage measurement. You will also be responsible for social media monitoring and managing an External Communication coordinator.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in the (re)insurance sector.
- Solid expertise in media relations with a network of relevant media contacts.
- Strong track record of stakeholder engagement, including with the media.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in crisis and issues management.
- Ability to manage external PR agencies and budgets.
Preferred:
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Social media experience.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
