Summary
Potomac is seeking an External Wholesaler to join their team in the Midwest Region, preferably in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. The role involves supporting and growing Potomac's tactical investment strategies and mutual fund business to financial intermediaries.
About the Role
As an External Wholesaler, you will work alongside an internal team member to drive sales and develop relationships with financial advisors. Your responsibilities will include representing Potomac's products, managing territory budgets, and providing investment solutions to advisors. The role requires extensive travel and offers significant income potential through commissions.
About You
Required:
- Must have or be willing to acquire licensing: SIE, Series 6 or 7 and either 63 & 65 or 66.
- Minimum of 3 years as a mutual fund/VA separate account external or internal wholesaler.
- In-depth working knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations.
- Self-driven: able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
- Established relationships in the TAMP and Broker Dealer channels.
- Experience with separate managed accounts.
