Lockheed Martin is seeking an F-35 Training Operations Manager to support F-35 operations in Amendola, Italy. The role involves managing the daily activities of the Training Operations team for the F-35 Program.
About the Role
As the Training Operations Manager, you will oversee the execution of pilot training syllabi, coordinate training-related activities, manage personnel, and ensure the proper flow of training operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining training devices and preparing course materials, while acting as a subject matter expert in aviation training.
About You
Required:
- Active Secret clearance and ability to qualify for SAP clearance.
- In-depth knowledge of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems.
- Experience delivering military pilot academics and simulator training.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and leadership traits.
- Proven experience in managing operations personnel.
- Four-year degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred:
- Experience as an F-35 Contractor Instructor Pilot or F-35 Pilot Subject Matter Expert.
- 1000+ hours Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft.
- Current experience as an USAF/USN/USMC Instructor Pilot.
- Familiarity with F-35 tactics and program requirements.
