About the Role
As a Fabricator, you will examine customer specifications using drawings and blueprints, maintain weldment geometry to print tolerance, and fabricate work pieces according to work order specifications. Your responsibilities will include performing various fabrication duties such as cutting, sawing, clamping, and welding, while ensuring the quality of the finished products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and improving conditions through strategic projects.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Trade school, technical school, or military education required. Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience with sheet metal required.
Preferred:
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical procedures.
- Ability to interpret Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
- Ability to apply basic mathematical skills to solve technical problems.
