About the Role
As a Facilities Engineering & Architecture Intern, you will assist in creating and updating drawings, conducting site surveys, performing electrical audits, and supporting project schedules and budgets. You will collaborate with facilities staff, engineers, and contractors, gaining real-world project management experience while ensuring compliance with regulations and building codes.
About You
Required:
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong computer skills and technical aptitude.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with project management concepts and technical documentation.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools.
- Previous construction experience.
